Dr. Ashwini Rathi (MD, MRCOG) is a leading Fetal Medicine Specialist and the Director of Mumbai Fetal Medicine Centre—Mumbai’s first stand-alone dedicated fetal medicine facility. With over 13 years of experience, she is recognized for her precision-driven approach, advanced diagnostic skills, and compassionate care for expectant mothers and their babies.

A graduate of Seth G.S. Medical College and KEM Hospital with honors in Pathology and Obstetrics & Gynecology, Dr. Rathi completed her post-graduation from the prestigious PGIMER, Chandigarh. She later earned the esteemed MRCOG credential from the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists, London.

Dr. Rathi underwent specialized fellowship training at the renowned Apollo Centre for Fetal Medicine, New Delhi, where she sharpened her expertise in fetal imaging, prenatal diagnosis, and invasive fetal procedures. She has performed over 2000+ procedures, including amniocentesis, CVS, and embryo reduction, and has assisted in advanced fetal therapies such as laser treatment for TTTS and radiofrequency ablation.

Her academic excellence is marked by multiple national and international awards, including best paper awards at NICPAT and the FOGSI-FIGO International Conference. She has presented research at global platforms such as the Fetal Medicine World Congress and continues to contribute actively through lectures, research, publications, and teaching.

A respected faculty member at major conferences, Dr. Rathi is also an MMC-accredited speaker and plays an important role in training young specialists across India. She holds advanced FMF (UK) certifications in NT scan, nasal bone, ductus venosus, tricuspid Doppler, cervical screening, and uterine artery Dopplers.
